Head Instructor, Gordon Muir, has been very fortunate in training with high level masters throughout his career. He began his Tai Chi and Qi Gong studies in 1981 with Yang style Master T. T. Liang. From him he learned the complete Yang style system and two different Qi Gong sets.
In the early ninties Gordon studied with Chen style Master Zhang Xue-Xin and his disciples. From him he learned the Hunyuan Qi Gong system and began looking into Chen style Taijiquan with the Hunyuan 48 form and the complex set of internal exercises called Chan Si Gong (silk reeling).
In 2003 Gordon met Master Chen Zhonghua and eventually became his disciple. With Chen Zhonghua Gordon continued delving deeper into Chen Taijiquan and did further work on the Hunyuan Qi Gong set.
As a result of these many years of dedicated study Gordon is considered one of the highest level practitioners of internal health and martial arts in Canada.
